Meanwhile, Iran's Ambassador to Moscow Mehdi Sanaei was present in the meeting.

The two sides exchanged views on issues related to implementation of the agreements signed last November in the field of nuclear energy.

Construction of two new nuclear power plants in Bushehr was on the agenda of negotiations.

According to the signed contract between Iran and Russian on November 11, 2014, the two power plants 1,000 megawatts each will be constructed by the Russian companies with participation of Iranian companies a 10-year period.

Spassky met with Iran's Ambassador to Moscow Mehdi Sanaei on Tuesday and the two sides underlined expansion of cooperation in nuclear energy.

Referring to recent agreement between the two countries, Sanaei underlined joint fuel production considering domestic capacities in Iran and said that the issue is very important for Iran.

Spassky, for his part, expressed his company's readiness to begin construction of the two power plants and added that in spite of imposed pressures on Russia, Rosatom is obliged to its commitment to build the power plant in Bushehr.
